- RetiredRealtorRExplorerVery interesting. Looks well thought out with attention to quality materials as well. My issue would be they'd have to work really hard to make it any uglier!! Some cosmetics would be a tremendous help....and some decent looking wheels.
- GjacExplorer IIIVery interesting design Don and informative video also. The main attraction for me would be the 50 gals of FW, over all size, monocoque construction and over all strength, ground clearance, insulation, supportability of all the systems, leveling system and ease of access from the drivers area to the house. Not sure what this would cost, but would expect it to be more than a standard B plus. I could live without the sound system, recycled water, and other electronic systems. It looks like they buy the B box from someone else. I wonder if it would be less expensive to start with just the floor then install the systems before the walls and top go on.
- LwiddisExplorer IIIs the ground clearance low or am I imagining that?
- GjacExplorer IIIOn second thought I googled the B box RV cost. They said it was between $300-$490k I think I will pass. Still a nice design, they just need to make it more affordable.
- BumpyroadExplorerI am wondering about the fresh water system. is all fresh water stored in that one tank, recycled and not? I think I would want at least a small separate FW tank for drinking, etc. purposes.
bumpy - obgrahamExplorerLooks like a nice idea for the cost-is-no-object person. However, with all that one-off designed stuff, finding parts in the future might be a real problem. Like finding Roadtrek specific parts now.
Anything you build now can break in the future! - pianotunaNomad IIIBumpy,
The gray water is filtered, and the toilet can be flushed with that water.

I already have those....... - DrewEExplorer III think they may technically need to put clearance lights on (the overall width of the body seems to be maybe an inch over 80").
It is an interesting and pretty well thought out design. I'd be interested to see how the laminated fiberglass and foam structure holds up over time without a metal framework for the basic body; it probably can't be any worse than some more traditionally built RVs, at the least.
Also: A nice amount of counter space, a big kitchen sink, a large fridge and freezer, but no stovetop at all (unless I missed it somewhere)?
