If you are so inclined, you can buy the materials, AND tools, to repaint the stripes yourself and still be well under the cost of paying someone else to repaint your stripes. Removing them is not that difficult with a heat gun and a little time. Repainting the stripes is well within the capabilities of most people that are handy with tools. It is sort of a messy job but the money saved is significant.
