Assisted needed on how to get past info

Hello. There is great information from this site and rather than asking a question I would like to review past posts. I had asked a question on this site about generator fuel filters and I cannot find the post that was answered about this issue. Rather than bothering people on this site about an issue I would rather read responses but don't know how to search . Tried advanced search but that did not help. Thank you in advance.
  • You can click on your name, and then it opens a few selections, including 'view posts'

Click on view posts, and I found all the posts that you have made in the past 12 months. Nothing on oil filters or generators.

You can also do a 'advanced search' and put in 'author's name' then select more than 12 months. It will find any post that you made more than 12 months ago.

You could also do a advanced search and put in generator, filter and probably find several posts with both of those words in it. By making a reply (something as simple as thanks for the infor) and then click 'Subscribe do not sent e-mail notifications' it will show up on your list of "My Forum"

You can reach 'My Forum' by opening RV.net and click on the upper right My Forum. It will give a list of all the RV related posts that you are 'tracking' and the latest updates to them. So if someone posted something in the past week, it will jump to the top, once it has no posts for over 1 year, it will fall off the My Forum list.

I posted something on my roof repairs, and someone keeps posting something every 8 or 9 months, so the item still shows up on my list. The original post was back in 2011, and if not updated, it would not be easy to find today, but people keep asking me questions about the roof coating that I applied (it was pretty easy once the roof was clean).

    Good luck,

    Fred.
