Atwood electric leveling jack

Looking for a used Atwood 10K electric jack.
Any advice?

We have Atwoods on our 08 Allegro Bay. I had an issue this winter and
rebuilt and reinstalled 2 units working great so far. I do have a spare rebuilt but hate to part with it just in case. Contact Sue Noyes at Atwood

Atwood was also used on Fleetwood diesels around 2005 for a couple of years. They also had problems but don't know for sure if Atwood upgraded any of them. worth checking into though.

The electric jacks are powered by a small 12 volt DC motor. The motor can be repaired so that also might be worth looking into.

they were used on Alfas (Tiffin and a few other builders)from 2007-2008 and many of the unit owners have 'upgraded' the original system due to numerous failures of the original system. Atwood has an 'upgrade' kit that includes new jacks (that have a 'counter option' so they won't over extend), a new memory board and a new dash control. atwood charges their normal 'arm and a leg' for this upgrade but since these year's Alfas don't have a hydraulic system, it is really the only reasonable solution. Since Atwood requires ALL 'upgrade' systems to buy new jacks, there are several Alfa owners who have perfectly good jacks from the old system. suggest you go on the Yahoo Groups for Alfa and post a message that you are looking for the 10K jack. You might also contact Charlies Service in Sunset Utah or Alfateers in FonTana CA to see if they have any 'take off's available.
