awning

I have a 9000 elite domestic awning on class a put new awning fabric on, I run the motor with the fabric off, the motor will not turn now does the motor have to be timed. today I unhooked the awning I am going to start over, can somebody help me redo this step by step does the motor have to be in time and how many turns on the spring and so on. thank you
  • All the motor does is rotate the awning cylinder.
Everything else is done by the spring cylinders and the fabric itself, as well as the arms.

If the motor won't turn with the fabric off, then something is binding up really bad, there is no power, or the motor is bad.
