Bad day for a Journey...
Wish I had thought to take a photo...
On Highway 50 over Echo Summit climbing away from Lake Tahoe... A 40foot Journey stopped not quite from the summit... in the most impossible location - the 3 mile narrow section with cliff on one side and rock on the other -no shoulder... He had our sympathy... A Caltrans truck had to drag it probably two miles over the summit to a wide area to await a tow truck. There was no other choice as he had the highway blocked. I guess he put it in neutral and tried to steer... Couldn't have been a worse location for the dreaded stop engine routine...
