Bad switch on monitor panel.

Found the switch at local RV parts place........problem fixed.

We Our Radio Shack has very limited switches ect but we are a small high country town with only about 6000 people. Did check there but nothing. Our Ace Hardware and a small Auto and RV parts store had them in a large slection of switches ect. Good Luck. Remember spending the better part of a day finding mine.

If you have an old feeler gage you can pull it out a bit and run it along. Mine had two clips on bottom and two on top. Two were longer clips to hold it in and two were short curved clips so you could snap it in and out. Can not remember if top or bottom were longer.. Was not hard to do just had to get brave..

My panel is mounted in same area and just snaps in and out. Took some time to figure out just were to pry and which way. It came out OK and was not that hard to do. Just lots of pulling it out a little and running a thin screw driver along to find where the clip springs were.. I could find no information so just had to figure it out. Have had it out two different times to replace switches..

Can you find the manufacturer name then check their webpage for support info. One panel maker, KIB, has good online information AND a phone help desk.

My monitor panel is part of the range hood.I pulled the hood down (without disconnecting the wire harness) and I don't see how to remove the actual panel. Any hints or tips are appreciated.
