Bathroom Remodel - Thor Vegas 25.2 (2018)

Hi!  I'm looking for some advice/input please.  We have a Thor Vegas 25.2 and I desperately want to gut the bathroom and make the whole space a wet bath.  Some points to consider:

  • We removed the RV toilet and use a compost toilet instead.
  • The shower and toilet are on elevated platforms.  Can this platform be removed and leveled with the floor?
    • I'm unsure what's under it besides the black tank, which we don't use since we removed the RV toilet, and the heater vent, which can be rerouted.
  • Can the cabinets currently in there (factory) stay since they are already humidity-proof or should I plan for new cabinetry that is made from FRP or something similar?

If anyone has done this in their MH, I'd love to hear from you!  What were the lessons learned, what would you do differently, etc?

Thank you!

You're unfortunately going to have to find a way or open up the platform and look. It's possible that the gray drain lines from the tub or sink run under the platform.

Ok. Thank you! Hoping that if we remove the black tank we can lower the other plumbing pieces into that space so we can level the floor. Fingers crossed!

There are cameras that a on cables that can fit through a tiny hole.
