- Hemi_RTExplorerCheck with your insurance company and find out what they cover and what they don't cover on your RV. It is usually cheaper to have multiple policies from one company as long as the coverage is what you want.
- xteacherExplorerWe have Progressive Insurance on our cars and our campers. The campers have their own policy. We've been very satisfied with it for many years.
- LakeNExplorerI highly recommend having "total loss replacement." Currently working with Nationwide, and they are getting us into a new comparable unit following total loss on original motorhome.
- DaCremaExplorerWhen we decided a little over four years ago to purchase a RV I called our agent. The company that held the policy that handled our home and cars did not cover RV. He suggested Progressive. I have had no claims against the policy but am happy customer. The coverage is good and the price seems about right.
A member of the Lazy Daze community had lightening strike his RV. Progressive was very helpful and covered the (extensive) damage. The owner was happy with his interaction with the claims adjuster and every one from progressive that he had contact with. He posted in a blog the saga and what was involved. The event happened some time ago, in 2010, so I am not going to post a link due to age. - sdianel_-acct_cExplorerWe use National Interstate Insurance (purchase from an independent agent) and have been happy with the 2 windshield claims we have filed. They also cover the tow vehicle or toad.
