Try looking for a short block. Sounds like a connecting rod failed and was chucked through the pan. Short block means you can reuse many of the "attachments" including the heads but you should have them looked at first to verify they are OK to reuse. If not, get the long block version which still allows most "attachments" to be reused. Good luck.... I have a 2007 with the workhorse and it's running strong... It's probably one of the best platforms for an RV that was made in recent years.
