brake light switch
Can you buy a replacement at an auto parts store? I've lost the brake lights and cruise control on my Kodiak. Apparently this is a "common" problem. My first time. Thanks.

- Have you done basic troubleshooting I.E., checking all fuses, connections, try to circumvent the switch to ensure it's the problem? Hate to see you spend time and money to find out it's a bad fuse.
- Wiggled the switch and re checked it and the brake lights worked. When I bought it I had the RV place install the brake controller. It's attached to the white wire. I've never replaced the switch before. I have a spare now. I'll rewire it correctly later in Colorado. Thanks.

Jeff - You can get them at most auto parts stores.

The switches go bad if a brake controller is wired into the white wire going to the switch.
