Brakes on C5500 Kodiak

Has anyone replaced their Kodiak's brakes? I've noticed a grinding noise from the front brakes lately. There is alot of pad still there at least 3/8ths of an inch. Also the pedal is feeling soft. I plan to get them checked soon. Just bracing myself for the cost. LOL. Thanks.

Come to find out the rear calipers were stuck and wore off the outside of the rotors nearly to the vents in the center of the rotor. It appears that because of the weight of these rigs there is a lot of brake bias to the rear brakes. Not like a regular car or truck where the front brakes do the majority of the braking. So I got new calipers, rotors, pads and seals on the rear and the fronts are still good. It is difficult to see the rotor the way everything is covered. You need to pull the wheels to get a good look.

While your MH is not at diesel. The brake systems and parts are the same.
