BT Cruiser Fresh Water Tank

Thanks DrewE & Jim, I can see the tanks when I lift the bed up, I'll look for a vent line.
Jim, I hope it's something we can fix, we use fresh water tanks a lot more than city hook ups.

We had an '03 BT 5270 and experienced the same problem filling the fresh water tank. The intake hose is installed basically parallel to the level ground and consequently filling the tank involves a lot of "blowback." I wish I could say we solved it, but we didn't with at least one interior overflow and floor flooding under the bed. All I can suggest is a slow, watchful fill.

How are you determining how full the tank is? If it's the typical little LED bargraph display, check that the top sensing electrode connection is solid and the little wires unbroken and so forth. (Alternately, if the tank is translucent, you might be able to shine some light in and verify the water level.

If the tank truly isn't full or very nearly so, I would suspect a plugged or pinched or otherwise inoperative vent line. If you have trouble draining the tank when the fill port is capped (tightly), that would also suggest a bad vent.
