Bulb to LED light conversion

You want less light.. I want more.. Good thing they make a range of lamps that fit those sockets :) by the way a common dash indicator lamp Very small) will fit in that same socket.. I know, that's how I test them to be 1000% (yes I know too many zeros, not) sure that the problem is the lamp bulb, not the socket,

Super Bright LED's is where I would start, I like Cool White myself for the color chart but pay attention to both the color temp and the lumens.

I tried looking up the lamps I use but alas the corporate web page loaded very slow and did not list them. They are 1141 replacements. Light is between a 1141 and a 1156. draw around 2 watts.

And the catalog did not list color temp.

Thanks all for the information. I did just purchase 4 paddle looking type that fit the wedge base like the 921 bulbs. When with Ebay due to price and they are from China but had a local warehouse so they shipped quick. x 2. That's what caused me to switch to a much brighter LED bulb.

I have purchased two sets of these so far and have had no problems. I'll probably get more soon. They work great.

Easy to install, bright and good color. I've also used them with a limit switch and a 9-volt battery for a great light for small spaces such as a cabinets, safes, etc.

Has someone on this site made a comprehensive list of part numbers and the equivalent LED replacements?

I'm assuming this is what you want to do, but not for $50 on Ebay.

I would not buy all 20 bulbs all at once. Buy a couple of each type... bulb and panel with different amounts of LEDs/brightness in warm white, not bright white. Most of us on here have found that the panels give off better usable light. There are plenty of posts on here on this subject.

Ivylog, you mention using a panel versus the wedge based "bulb" shape. Please tell me why and how you determine which would work better. since I have over 20 "bulbs" to replace it really is important I get the right one. All my lights are the pancake style lights that fit flat against the cabinets or ceiling.
