We have a powered bunk over the cab area of our Class A. It comes in handy for when our daughter travels with us as it is easier to use than the kitchen table or a pull out sofa. It does have its own share of considerations - the ladder has to be stored somewhere when the bunk is up, taking up space. Also, the electric motors sometimes get out of sync and have to be resync'd, but that is more of an inconvenience than anything else. The benefit is that the dinette is still usable even if the cab seats are not. We had this on our list as a "nice to have" but are glad we have it and would consider it a "must have" for any new coaches that we may want to purchase in the future.
