Got to drive my MH before it got dark. Then the night fell, everything going good. Then it started raining. Hey! Where is my wiper switch! For some stupid reason, they neglected to light up these switches:Rocker switches are just plain, no light. No lighted panel, nothing...Even knowing where they were, had a hard time finding while driving. I'm going to add a cheap book light to use if I end up in the dark again. But man, the MH seems like it was a fairly top notch for it's day, to not have these lighted seems ridiculous.

Is there just a light out or is it like the letters are just painted on there? Very funky.

Maybe you should check to see if a fuse is out that would 'back light' the switches and/or the printed words.Something to keep in mind, if you decide to put a light to shine down on the switches, use something other than white, either blue or red. We have a reading light for the driver and passenger that are both red. Red will not 'blind' you if need to turn it on. A bright white light may very well blind you.We also have ceiling lights in that area that are bright halogens for when we are parked (if needed).Good luck,MM.

I'm thinking I could find some lighted rockers of the same size and just replace the 1st 3 ( top from left to right ).

I bought one of these. Figured a small tab of velcro would do the trick, if I cant find a place to use the clip close enough. Bendable to keep it from shining in my eyes. I can modify the light cover if I need to dim it down. I don't plan doing much night driving.

You might try turning the headlight switch/knob. Turning that to one end or the other may turn on an overhead light. Which is what I would have expected there to be.

If you go the customizing route, you can put a hooded light socket that you've modified with a LED. On that panel. Maybe add two.

the air horn switch u see in the op picture is for either having air horn on or regular factory issued horn all via steering wheel switch as per normal
