Canadian - CAA-RV vs Good Sam vs Explorer RV Club

I presently have CAA-RV Roadside Assistance. I received my renewal and was surprised at the cost. So now I am looking at the alternatives. I have had CAA for longer than I can remember and have just renewed every year without considering other options. My CAA-RV plan covers myself and my wife for our Class A and our car. Cost is my influencing factor to justify a change, but will I get the same coverage I currently receive. Sometimes paying less gets you less, so what is your experience, would you switch and to which one ?
Thanks.

ps. I posted this in the good Sam Roadside Assistance Forum, but am double posting it here because I believe the readership is higher here and I may receive more replies here)

Thanks.
  • We have always been happy with Good Sam Roadside Assistance, covers both of us in whatever vehicle we are travelling, and any vehicle we own even if we are not driving it.

They are efficient and easy to deal with, and have good service here in Canada as well as in US.
  • Check to see if CAA-RV covers unlimited distance towing. IIRC, there's a mileage limit on how far they will tow before they start charging you. Compare that to Good Sam, or CoachNet (CoachNet offers unlimited towing distance to nearest repair facility).

Is Coachnet available for Canadians travelling in Canada?

Absolutely! I've had CoachNet for several years now, had to use them a couple of times. Good each time.
