cannot upload sig picture

Have been trying to upload a updated sig picture. The picture is 380 x 80 in size and 8kb but I keep getting denied because it is over 500 x 100 in size. What is going on and how do I get around it?

What are you using to resize the image? If this is your first time trying to load it up, look at these instructions. If you're doing something different, follow them..if you're doing everything correct, I can't help you, sorry....Dennis

1. Download IrFanView. (Free)Clicky
2. Create your picture using IrFanView. Click, file, open
3. If you want multiple pictures in one image, Click, image, create panorama image.
4. Place the pictures in the panorama box according to order.
5. Click Image again, only this time Click, resize/resample.
6. Set your size accordingly. Make sure you have the Pixel button checked.
7. Save your image.
8. Put it on your preference page.
