Planning to go to Cape Cod with grandchildren in August. Any recommendations for a good campground-resort near center of Cape Cod with pools, 50amps, etc. I would appreciated any help even if its not in center of cape.

Thank You for your help

Scussett --- One of my favorites! Just be aware that hookups are 30A and water only and the condition of the electric system is deteriorating badly. Regular power outages, especially in warmer weather. Very difficult to get in there!

Bourne Scenic --- 50% seasonals. Many sites are crammed in, so site selection is paramount.

CCC Resort --- Have only driven through and was somewhat impressed. Looks like they've done a lot to make the place nice.

Atlantic Oaks is the best choice for your requirement of Mid-Cape.

Have heard many good things about Atlantic Oaks being a great Mid-Cape spot.

I hated CC Campresort when we stayed there - but that was quite a few years ago, so I'm guessing they've been fixing it up and it's gotten better, as I am seeing some better reviews now.

Probably not on your plan, but for an adventure we put the coach on a ferry at Woods Hole and stayed at Martha's Vineyard campgound. Great time. Ferry tics required before sole campgound on MV will take reservations.

We thought of that as well....whats the cost for that

We stayed in Adventure Bound in North Truro. Nice place and easy access to a low cost shuttle to Provincetown.

They both sell out, so if you're planning to go this summer, I'd make reservations ASAP!

X2 been to Cape Cod Campresort twice. Very nice. Have reservations for Atlantic Oaks in three weeks. We rode our bikes through it while biking on the Rail Trail and decided next time to the cape we would give them a try.

Atlantic Oaks is the best option for CENTER of the CAPE. Nothing fancy, but right on the bike trail and centered as desired.
