Captain's Chair Covers

Would like to re-cover the captain's chairs in my 1998 National Tropi-Cal 6330. Lots of stuff available but was wondering if anyone had done so and what they used.

Thanks
  • Explore all of your options at a good upholstery shop. If you plan on keeping the coach, go with real leather, not the plastic "leather" used by most manufacturers. As I found out when I redid some of my furniture, I would not recommend "Memory foam" for seating. I found that memory foam compresses and does not spring back quick enough to make it comfortable for seating. It is fine for bedding. I settled on a medium regular foam that is not too hard or too soft and properly supports me as I drive down the bumpy roads in the USA.
  • What he said. Just find a reputable local upholstery shop.
  • Any upholstery shop worth it's weight can fix you up. If cost is no factor, get the plush leather. Make sure the inside stuffing is up to par. Like carpet in your home, cheap carpet with a great pad will last much longer than great carpet with a cheap pad....Dennis
