Car dolly question..

Hello all.
I just purchased a 2018 Pacifica. It can be towed on a dolly per the owners manuel. It does not have a locking steering column. Does this mean that I can not use a pivoting dolly? I thought I understood now I’m a bit confused.

    The "Club" would mare your door or seat/console over time (ask me how I know). I now use a 1" web strap with the cam clamp (not the ratcheting type). Routing the web from the seat base up to the steering wheel back down to the other seat base.

    You can also wrap your shoulder strap/seat belt around the bottom of the wheel and insert it in the seat belt retainer.

    When we had our dolly, we used a ratchet strap with 2 wraps around the bottom of the steering wheel and the ends hooked to the seat mounting brackets. Easy to hook up and worked well.

    You will have to secure the wheel with a "Club" and some rope. It doesn't take much to hold a steering wheel stationary.
