I am new to RV ing Do most folks use CB Radios will on the Road??

We have a CB in the coach and I don't hear many using it. It does come in handy if the freeway traffic comes to screeching halt. It helps to find out from the truckers which lane is best to be in since we are 65 ft. long and need a little room to merge.
