I am new to RV ing Do most folks use CB Radios will on the Road??

Ours is always on because it is a weather alert monitor as we'll as CB. Keep the squelch up to where I only hear transmissions from the immediate area unless looking for traffic info.
Occasionally I get a call from a trucker asking about the smart on the back of the truck or the duals on the fiver - they tend to notice that.
