Dh and I have been talking about this all week. We had a travel supreme 5th wheel with a dodge 3500 We were full time then life happens we came off road rv and truck sat in yard 2 yrs not being used namely due to my refusal to drive it. We down sized to a 24 ft skinny Winnie view have had it almost 2 yrs and love it. We have decided it's more important to be back together so we instead of me being home with his mom. We set that all up and I spent 8 months on road with DH in View. That worked well so we have been talking upgrading to a DP. We've talked about spending so much money on something that depreciates quickly and if that was a good move for us.
We decided it will be our home so think of it as a rent payment. We decided we have furnished our home and would never get what we paid if sold furniture but we enjoyed it.
I think being together and experiencing life together comfortably is worth every penny.
We have made a short list of Newmar and Entegra so we will start deciding on floor plan and move forward. Great thread all well said love the full time life style.
