I recently had to replace the starter on my Onan Marquis 7KW generator. The gears were stripped and broken. Local shops offered to rebuild it for $146.00. What a deal. A little shopping and I found a brand new one on EBAY. It is under DB Electric, located in Lake Wales, FL. They replaced my broken starter in TWO days for $40.35. That included shipping. They have many other parts at fantastic savings. A great big thank you to those guys for making repairs affordable. :B

If that's one of the Chinese made aftermarket starters, keep your fingers crossed. They have a reputation for not lasting much longer than the warranty. On the other hand, if it's a quality made part, that's a heck of good deal!
