Cleaning the side

Hi everyone,

Vehicle: 1991 Seven Seas RV.

My sides seem like raw fiberglass. What I mean is that the fibers aren't showing but small lines throught that trap the dirt.

I'm going to clean the fiberglass sides of the RV for yet another year.

I don't have a pressure washer anymore and it never did that well anyway.

Over the years I've tried everything and the best was to use Bars Keepers Friend and TSP using a scrub brush.

But...

Since my back isn't getting any better I'm trying oxiclean with a wash broom...Applying it kinda thick. Letting it sit for an hour or so and then washing as normal. Haven't got to the hour-waiting part yet.

If I can get it really clean this time I'm going to use ZEP floor polish to seal it so the dirt can't stick to those millions of little "grooves". I don't know what 'ya actually call them.

Bottom line is that I need to get the dirt out of those little grooves before sealing.

Any better suggestions beside the oxi-clean?

Thanks.

Thanks for the help! As suggested, this thread should be in the class C section so I am starting a new one there.

My apologies to the moderators for duplicate threads.

Yep, 210's were, 200 were technically a Class/Type C. :W
ProtectAll's fiberglass and color restorer works wonders on gel coats.

I think some RtS are made of fiberglass. 200's and 210 wide bodies ... no?

My question also.
Our 2351D Phoenix Cruiser, Jack, has turned us from campers into RVers and loving it!

I use S-100 on my motor home and it removes all of my black streaks and cleans perfectly with no effort.Nothing better for removing dried bugs on front of unit including windshield. You can buy it on-line or at your local Harley Davidson dealer. Spray it on, (Like blood spreading, just a mist will do it) wait 3 to 4 minutes and easily scrub off anything. You will see a milky runoff that has to be rinsed good. It will also coat any metal surface to stop any rust or corrosion of any kind. Try this I think that you will be happy. Color fading? try wiping down with transmission fluid.
