Cold weather refrigerator question
I've been reading where folks suggest keeping the refrigerator compartment warm to protect the refrigeration chemicals. I'm not really sure what they are talking about. I'm getting ready for a winter camping trip. I've blocked the top two vent holes as suggested. I was planning on putting a light bulb in the compartment for warmth while we are connected to street power. What do folks do while traveling? If the refrigerator is running on propane, does that generate adequate heat in the compartment?
