- wildtoadExplorer IIHave not heard that. Cannot see where they could be a problem since they don't open. We had ordered one but somehow it got left off the build sheet. Don't miss it really. I like the way the graphics look on the back without the window.
- 2oldmanExplorer III think at one time they had a problem with fake windows.
- How many sources have told you that? How many of those sources OWNED that type Newmar? Newmar has used FAKE windows for years:B They were hard to see out of, but did not break:B Doug
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIICheck on a Newmar forum. Never heard of this.
- HighwayJunkyExplorerA salesman (wouldn't you know it) for a competitive unit who we have used before. We want to truth him but!!!!!!
- Bruce_BrownModeratorI'll admit, thats the first I've ever heard of this.
I'm thinking your salesman is getting a bit desperate if thats all he can make up. :B - crassterExplorer IILOL fake windows. :) The tangled web we weave. Haven't heard of the issues with real windows.
- EffyExplorer IIFake windows are a lot easier to clean though. As long as you use the faux windex and imaginary squeegee.
- Jef9909ExplorerI have a 2007 Canyon Star with a window on the back. No issues, other than it gets dirty after driving in the rain. Easy to clean, never had an issue. Have just over 50000 miles on unit. It is a bit brighter in the morning, so we also had it tinted.
