Tiffin vs Newmar
How do these folks compare when it comes to quality in production and service after the motorhome has been bought

Bob&Ann I have been in the Auto and RV repair industry my whole life and have found on occasion no matter what one does for a customer it does not always satisfy some people
I have had Bob and Don at tiffin bend over backwards to accommidate me
over the last 6 years

But stuff breaks on all MHs so they all will need repair.
Yes I have changed light bulbs, repaired the trim we messed up. changed out several plastic parts. but this Mountain Aire is rock solid, built to last.

We work full time and after being told by two Tiffin employees our problem would ot be taken care of I did not feel I prudent to make the trip to red bay(while payin g my staff and overhead) . In hind site I should have listened to my sales person and bought the Entegra to start with.
seeking warrenty work in redbay does not require nor have much bearing on what a dealer says one way or the other
Your best bet in hindsight would have been to go to redbay

I was extremely disapointed with our experiance I did call tiffins service number they refered me to their representative at lazydays (the same who told me it was as good as it gets) I have bad allergies with the mold and mildew forming under the dash I was havi ng respiratory issues. I still work full time and can not spend weeks in red bay hoping for a fix (that was not autherized at the dealer)

WOW sounds like a major incompetent dealer issue. There is no way that I would get rid of a one year old 45LP because somebody told me that is as good as it gets. It would be interesting to know who you talked with at Tiffin. If you had called Bob Tiffin that person would have been looking for employment by morning. I know that top management has always done everything in their power to satisfy the customer.

Friends' problems with Entegra, door fit problem, never totally cured, but they can live with it, slide leak problems at the bottom of slide when retracted immediately come to mind. Winnebago problems are too numerous to remember, bed problem, repeated slide problems with the famous Swintech slides, paint issues, etc. etc.
Thanks. I'm not finding the Schwintek except on the brand new tour.
