Cost of New Tires Hurricane

I'm going to be looking at a 2007 Hurricane that will certainly need new tires (all six are original). Can anyone give me a ballpark figure as to how much it will cost them? Knowing will be a big help in negotiation!
  • I have had good luck with Samson 19.5 tires
I get the from Chicago Tire via Ebay
$200.00 each plus local install. My installer charges $30.00 per tire.
They are about middle of the road on price

Petty big spread. $500+ for Goodyear G670 down to $120 for a Wanli S3074 (what ever a Wanli is). 245/70R 19.5 tires. Start at $2000 price drop and see what the seller counters with.
X-2, I agree with Dale! I bought high end tires 3 years ago Michelin XRV and they were around $2,700.00 back then thru the FMCA / Michelin Fleet Discount Tire Program. My guess would be you could get a hard rubber truck tire for around $1,800.00 to $2,000.00 for 6 tires. Let us know how you make out. I know the price of rubber for tires has been fluctuating lately on the open market.

  • While you're there, check the tire size, it will effect the price. Then it depends on how good of a tire you want. $210 a tire will cover it and you can go down from there.
