Covering a Class C in storage

theres times I leave my MH in arizona and fly back and forth , I,ve always covered it ,keeps it cleaner and the weather off. takes about 20 min to put on off first about a hour . get yourself couple peices 1in plastic pipe helps a lot.

Built a 'pole barn' to park mine under. I was really thinking about one of the metal "garage" buildings, but decided on wood to complement our cabin.

Yeah, I'm thinking forward to maybe buying a lot someplace and building a pole barn or something mor substantial..... but in the mean time I'm stuck with commercial storage yards. There are none near me that have covered spots, and I'm thinking that I would want to protect my investment form the sun as much as reasonably possible.

thought of another related question. How big is your cover folded... and how heavy? Do you just store in in your MH's basement?

I chose not to cover it at all until I was able to put up this cover.

When I lived in Florida, I had to 'store' my rig. I asked the owner/manager if I could erect one of the metal sheds to cover the RV. He said sure, but if you leave you have to take it with you. No problem, as I watched a couple of people who had the fabric covers, uncover their rigs..donned in biohazard jump suits/dust masks and the like. Well, when we decided to move, they BOUGHT my shed, no problem-did not have to dismantle and move it.

I use an RV cover throughout the winter. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to put it on or remove it.

My motorhome is covered during the summer. We are snowbirds. We use the RV during the winter. Our 10 year old MH looks good after all those years.
