Dash air on 2000 Ford F53

Having trouble keeping the dash AC operating. Have charged the R-134 after evacuating up to the 2.75 lbs required. Needed to jump the low pressure switch to keep the compressor operating to charge. The clutch will not stay on without the jump.
Had a power surge while holding the jump wire.
Not sure what is wrong or happening. Recently replaced the low pressure switch.
Thoughts?
Thanks

Brian

Running:
Low= 80

Infinite reading on Low Pressure Sensor Ohms

Jumped Sensor readings:

High = 250

Thanks

First connect your gauge set on the high and low ports. Engine not running and write down the low and high reading and outside temp.

Next ohm out the low pressure sensor. write down

Start engine and write down the the Low and high reading and outside temp. Setting on max air and fan on high. Output temp on the air condition. Engine rpm at 1500 for ten minutes, Post these back.
