Day/Night shade cleaning
I'd like to steamclean or otherwise clean the factory shades in our rig. Is there some common wisdom on the best way to do it?

I used Greased Lightning on mine when I took them down and bathed them. There's no trick to taking them down. There is a clip on each side and maybe a center support. They clip into them. I used a screwdriver to "unlatch" the clip. They slip in one side of the clip and then snap into the back part of it.
