Dealership option - Environmental Package

My dealership has offered an add-on to the sale called Environmental Package. From what I understand, it's an additional exterior and interior cosmetic protection. There is a 5 year window to have the service performed yet I would have to pay an additional $250 detailing fee in addition to the upfront cost.
Anyone out there have any suggestions or comments on this service?

Have dealer offer that 'add on' for FREE

Otherwise it is exactly what you have called it an 'ADD ON'.....meaning more $$$ from your pocket into dealers pocket.
These add-ons are source of revenue for dealer.

X2. Wax your rig once a year and spray the interior with Scotch Guard or something similar.

Forget it! It is just short of being a scam. They will wash the RV and spray a liquid "wax" coating on it, and spray a Scotch Guard type product on the fabrics on the inside. About $50.00 worth of material and an hour labor.
