Dicor Diseal Tape Versus Eternabond Tape

see in the forums were many say not to use the Dicor Diseal tape and to get Eternabond tape instead. Can anyone tell me why? What is wrong with using Dicor diseal instead. Is it the Eternabond advertisement that makes it better. After all dicor sealer is used almost extensively for sealing around vents and things on the roof. I have a 50 ft roll of DiSeal tape, but don't want to use it if it is going to cause me problems. Would like to hear from users of both products and reason why one is better.

  • We use it cause it works and I never have a problem after using it.
The other product might work as well, worse or better BUT I am not switching away from a product that I only have to use occasionally but works every time.
  • I use the sticknbond tape that eternabond makes. I think it is the newest tape product
  • I've never tried Diseal. I use Eternabond because it works. If I got a free roll, or a major discount, I would try Diseal.

If the price is similar, I'll go with the sure thing, Eternabond.

That said, the Dicor product is 'probably' as good as Eternabond.

I have not seen the posts telling you to not use Diseal. Maybe they had poor results with it's product.
Hopefully they will post and give their reason.
