One has a higher capacity hitch than the other (5K hitch vs. 7.5K hitch). The hitch capacity doesn't change any of the other numbers, it just tells you the capacity of the hitch.
That's exactly what I noticed.
Since frames are the same, wheel base, brakes, drive train, floor plans, dry weight differs by less then 100lbs, it would appear that coachmen put a 5000# hitch on one and a 7500# hitch on the other.
