directv, which satelite?

Heading out this weekend and need to set up the portable dish. It's been awhile and I forgot which satelite has which channels. I know that there are three available for my receiver (non-hd single LNB). One has just the lower channel numbers, one has just the higher channel numbers and one combines them all.

My choices are the 101, 110, and 119.
before I spend all the time setting up and finding the wrong one, can anyone tell me which one has all the channels.

Does that make sense?

DirecTV uses 101, DISH uses 110/119 (and one more for HD, 127 I think)

DirecHDTV uses two more but unless your dish is specifially made for DirecHDTV, you can not see them. (Plus/Minus 2 degrees off 101 but in a different frequency band so not compatable with older antennas)
  • If you have a Slimline dish, you aim at 101 and if your skew is correct, you will automatically be on 99 and 103. If all you need is non-HD, you aim your dish at 101. Either way, aim at 101 and you got it.

  • If I'm using the remote antenna, I use the Satellite AR app with my phone. That tells me the general location of the sats. Aim your dish in that direction and move it up and down and side to side slowly. If you have your TV set to signal strength, it will beep quickly when you've hit your mark. Easiest way to set it up. Takes no more than 60 seconds....oh, and 101 is the one you need...Dennis

Not really. Where are you seeing 'choices'? As I remember, you use the TV/box to tell you where to aim, and listen for beeps. It doesn't give you choices.
