Do you have an aftermarket lock on your Electric Awning?

I found it absolutely necessary to have an awning lock installed on my manual side awing. But since I now have an automatic, electric awning, do I need one? Does anyone use one? Is there such a ...

Lost a manual awning in 2006. Replaced it with a carefree electric. Was told a lock wasn't needed. Still on the RV. Lost the first one on I40 near Needles. DW was driving. The wind/awning acted like a parachute and moved the rig over a lane. Used bungies to secure it and drove all the way to Indiana before replacing.
