Do you travel with your interior doors open or shut

As far as doors open we keep our pocket door open and secured and our town bathroom doors closed. Shower door latched as well.

It is a 5" Rubicon Express leveler lift with 35's. Minor issues. I replaced all four tie rod ends with stronger after market ones and went with a heavier steering dampener. Towing wore out 2 of the TREs due to a loose sway bar link and towing it cupped the heck out of a tire. I do think this was due to the TRE being bad from 4-wheeling and NOT towing the Jeep. It tows great behind the MH.

Good question. Check your TREs is what I am saying!

We have a sliding door that we close and latch. Our bathroom door is closed. When it is very hot outside the heat in the bedroom will heat up the front of the MH, thus we keep it closed. We also run the gen when the outside temps. reach 80 degrees plus as our dogs in crates get warm and the dash AC will not keep the kitchen area cool enough so run the front Heat Pump on AC, works best for us.

Leaving pocket doors closed is a bad idea. Many of the interior walls flex as you are driving. With the mickey mouse latches on a pocket door either the latch will break or the door will be damaged. Most of those door either have a strap to hold it open or a bolt latch at the bottom.

Bathroom door latches when shut so it stays shut. Bedroom door latches both open and shut but more secure when latched in the open position so it stays open. Don't want those doors swinging free while moving.

Can't imagine the need to see all the way to the back of the coach. There is no rear window.

Our first coach had a rear window but no interior rearview mirror so it wasn't like you could look behind from the drivers position.

If the salesman's lips are moving then you can bet money the salesman doesn't know what he is talking about. They seem to be trained that if they don't know the answer then blurt out the first thing that pops into their mind.

Travel with the doors in whatever position works best for you!

The only door that I keep shut is the bathroom door.

We have actually started down the road with the bathroom door open and at the first stop light it will slam shut. You would swear someone shot a gun! Big bangs in a motorhome whilst driving are pretty terrible.

Are you required to stop at the DOT Permit Office to get a new over width permit every time you cross a new state boarder? Since you're under 12' wide at least most states will only require one pilot car.

What a road hog! Do you have any idea how many people are backing up traffic behind you because you use a whole lane for open slides? Its very selfish! LOL
