Electric short

Hi all. I have a new to me 2013 sportscoach cross country dp. The drivers side of the coach has a short that only happens when I turn a tv on that is on that side. All outlet's cut out then back on. It does it repeatedly with no rhyme or rhythm. The passenger side or ac's don't do this. Any ideas?????

Technically a short would blow a fuse or circuit breaker because both sides of the wire are touching. You are experiencing a temporary open circuit

Something is causing it...either the inverter or what's plugged into it..try a lamp in the same outlet...if nothing happens, I bet it is TV...try TV in a diff outlet..if the same, then the TV...if the lamp does it, it's a connection in the outlet chain or the inverter circuit in that chain.

Bet the tv is on the inverter, the tv is bad it is causing the inverter to switch in and out
unplug tv, test those outlets with anything else, lamp, drill, radio etc..
If nothing else cause's the power to cut out, it's the tv
If other things cause the same problem
Then it's the inverter

But you're not saying that after the GFI trips,...."All outlet's cut out then back on".....as the OP is saying?

Well, we know it's not a short, anyway.
I'd probably turn every breaker off, except the affected circuit, then plug in a few small lamps down range from the breaker box and see which ones blink off and on if this be the case. This should allow you to pretty much isolate it to a given outlet.

Could still be a loose connection at TV outlet or another outlet. Outlets are daisy chained, one to another. Loose connection at an upstream outlet can affect downstream outlets.

In a S&B or RV they normally run several outlets on one line. Loose wire on one will effect all in the line. Check all the outlets on that side.
