Entegra/American Coach?

Hello All,
It's been a while since I 've been on here.
Well I think it's time to get into a new coach after 14 years of MoutnainAire:)
My favorite always was(after Newmar), Travel Supreme 9now Entegra).
Since we still travel with our kids bunkbeds are a must.
My choices are 2017-18 Entegra Aspire 44R, Entegra Anthem 44F (install bunks into rear closet, and American Coach Revolution 42QB.
PLease tell me the good and bad about these manufacturers and coaches.
Thank you,
Thomas
  • Slight correction Entegra was formed by Jayco as a separate co and picked up a lot of Travel Supreme equipment plans and people. They built an excellent quality coach with very good customer service.
They have now been bought by Thor and if Thor keeps their hands off the quality/manufacturing process they should still be good.

Entegra makes a great coach and we have a friend that loves his 2016. One thing to note is that Jayco bought out Entegra and then Thor purchased Jayco. I am not saying that is either good or bad it is just something to know. They still intend to operate Entegra as a separate company which is good but nobody knows what is in their future.

I'd be leaning towards Entegra with the new ones.
As far as I'm concerned, we have the last of quality American's that were built before the recession years.
  • Thank u for your input.
We did consider Newmar, but with 100K+ more for the same coach category I'm not sure we can afford it.
I researched 2015 MountainAire 4599s this morning but there are not many around.

Really ,you should cross ANY AMERICAN coach off your list
    I had 2 Newmars,then bought a new 2012 Tradition,what a POS it was...QUALITY is not a word or idea at American
Go with either Entegra or Newmar...if you want a Quality built unit...C

If you want the Revolution you will have to either buy used or find one on a lot. American is not building the Revolution any more. I wanted a new 42P but they stopped building them.:(

Don't know where you got the idea that American no longer builds the Revolution. It is alive and well. Here is a link to the American Coach Revolution website page.

  • The Entegra has some Newmar DNA in it (check their construction method, I've been told some of the Travel Supreme guys came from Newmar - not sure if that's true), the American doesn't.

Why not another Newmar? No bunks?
