Entry door latch replacement

I received the replacement parts for a broken entry latch on my 2004 Itasca Suncruiser.

The handle portion came out easily. I can not figure out how to remove the latch portion which is inside the door. Hope I don't have to take the door apart.

Anyone done this repair and want to help a brother out??

    It does have 3 screws through the edge of the door into the latch assembly. I removed the screws and still can't get the assembly out. It seems to be in a channel that is keeping it from coming out.

    Jiggle it, work from the side toward the center of the door. If all the screws are out, it will come out.

    Just FYI. The part (single rotor latch) will not wiggle out. According to Winnebago, I will have to remove the door edge trim.
