Excel Combined gross weight.

The GCWR difference may be due to different rear axle ratios.

Different rear axle ratios would not change the GVWR, but will usually affect the GCWR.

They must have changed the rating when ford changed the chassis. Phil confirmed it to be 13,000#.

Here's the sticker inside the pantry of our 2004 Excel V8.

I found it, a dealer is advertising it at 13,000 lbs. for the V-8 model.

Cargo Capacity-332 KG
This is calculated to include four passengers @ 280 KG
With the fresh water tanks full: Fresh-90.4 KG Hot-22.6 KG
Waste tanks empty ( But mass of waste tanks full is 113 KG )
The previous owner had put a trailer hitch on (500 pounds total tongue wgt)
I have not pulled a trailer yet but plan to in the future to haul a motorcycle. I do have a rear
cargo box on the hitch presently. Hope this helps BOB
