Extended Warranty fir Class A

We are looking at an extended warranties on our Class A and would like any feed back on companies you have experience with (not Good Sam). Any feedback on Wholesale Warranties or America's RV Warranty? Good experiences or bad. Thank you
  • Camping World tried to sell me a maintenance contract for an outrageous price three years ago. Everything I have read says put that money in the back for any future maintenance expense. A lot of folks buy these expensive contracts and never use them or find out they are so full of loopholes they don't pay. The maintenance contracts companies (and CW thanks to the FACT they get a piece of the pie) are in business to make money, who do you think typically wins here? I have owned MHs for 10 years and that has been my philosophy and I have not been bit yet. Just my .02.

If you really, really have to do it, then probably a call to wholesale warranties, directly, would be the best choice, if there is such a thing.
So, you're betting that your rig is gonna break down, eh, while all the while, the EW company is betting that it won't.
The House usually wins, is all I'm saying here.
  • If you decide to buy an Insurance Policy (Extended Warranty) from anyone, ask for a copy of the policy.

Read it completely and learn all the exclusions. One item may be covered but, any damage caused by the failure the one item may not be covered.
You may be surprised to see what all is excluded.

That said, some feel the extended warranty is a good deal and have saved money by purchasing one.
Others think they are a waste of money.
You will have to decide what is best for you.
  • lets say engine seal goes bad ,seal covered under plan cost $20.bucks ,but not the $2000,00 dollars labor to put it in. seen this .
  • For what it's worth: A little bird told me that Camping World (with a worse than 100/1 debt/equity ratio) may be having some severe financial issues in the near future so, . . . . . beware of entering into any long term service contracts with them.

  • Not a warranty but is a service contract. Ask for a list of what is NOT COVERED. IF a non covered part is the problem then nothing is covered
