The next time you call you're likely to get a different answer, unfortunately. Doing it their way is bound to be much more expensive than necessary since you're paying full boat twice.
Make a commercial account w the correct tow vehicle (Class A) and add your car's plate # as a 2 axle trailer.
When you asked them if a separate ezpass transponder was needed for a car on a trailer what did they say? How about a car on a dolly?
