- MiracleMilesExplorerAnother Vote for Flying J and an early breakfast at Denny's!
It's also our last stop on the way home, fill up the deisel tank and dump black and grey tanks. - AbdRahimExplorerPetro, If I want a good sit down meal. Otherwise, any of the big truck stops, FJ, Loves/ Pilot, TA .

- koda55ExplorerI always plan our trips. I use the PilotFlyingj card. I get 7 cents off the cash price. I usually put 100 to 125 gallons in. We have stayed many nights at Flyingj and at Walmarts when we are going from point A to Point B. The noise never seems to bother us. We enjoy getting up and going into Denny's for breakfast.
- tinkererExplorerWe use Gasbuddy and use mainly truck stops. Flying J's and Loves are as much as 20 cents higher on their diesel fuel. Gasbuddy usually has a picture and directions to the station.
- xctravelerExplorerWhen we had a gas MH I really preferred Flying J as the RV Island made for easy access (relatively) and mostly kept me from trying to dodge cars racing me for the pump. Loves was always a PITA, never enough maneuvering room for a clean exit.
Now with diesel I still prefer Flying J/Pilot but will fill at any diesel truck island. It is faster and the in/out is easier. In AZ it is mandatory as we weigh more than 26,001 lbs. - btilfanExplorerFlying J
- HorsedocExplorer IIQuik Trip (QT) company out of Texas is moving into the SE US and have been upgrading their regular stations to truck stops with diesel and gas RV lanes, or you can fuel in the lanes. Several on I-85 have truck parking and allow RV parking as well. Usually the best prices in the area, gas and diesel. Our favorite stop gave me a card that will allow the pumps to remain on w/o having to stop and re-start when the $100 limit is reached.
- MikebornyExplorerI am a big fan of flying j/ pilot. I use their app to plan ahead for where I want to stop. The app has a user rating for each spot and they are pretty accurate. I avoid going to ones with less parking and 3 star or less ratings. I have never not felt safe in my last 6 years staying at them. If you have a newer coach and need to fill up with DEF, you know you can there. As I am the only driver, I usually treat myself to a nice breakfast at Dennys while everyone else is still sleeping before I hit the road again!
- bluwtr49Explorer IIFlying J truck lanes. They seem to be better kept up than pilot but that could just be my limited experience. Prices are competitive, especially with the RV card discount. Typically I put in between 60 and 100 gallons and figure I would spend any difference in cost just trying to find the "cheapest" fuel.
Easy in/easy out is more important than saving a couple of dollars per fill.
