Filling LP Tank

My park has LP delivery once a week, sign up book. Used that or usually I would take the motor home out for a drive once a month and fill propane at that time.
If at a campground, used them if really needed it.

I have a 28 gallon tank and I normally only need to fill once a year so for me its no big deal getting LP at a campground no matter what it costs. With a 56 gal. tank you should not have to deal with it very often. When you are on the road, just about any Camping World will fill it and even give you a discount on Tuesday or Wednesday.

A lot of propane dealers will not come into an RV park and load tank on a
motorhome. Reason: Insurance liability!

I think you're making this more difficult than necessary. I just stop at any gas station that sells propane and have them fill it up. Obviously, you have to make sure there is room for your rig and that the fill hose is long enough. But, I've never had a problem getting propane while on the road.

Sounds a little dangerous, but the reality is if you are doing it from bottles, you will eventually reach an equilibrium of psi and not all the bottle will transfer.

No, the extend a stay does not refill the on board tank.
If you are staying in one place for a period of time, you could install one and buy or lease an LP bottle from propane company. Buying a tank would let you take it to a filling location.
