Fleetwood Excursion (and others) slide outs slow and jerky

Thanks to all who responded. I will check the power connections, which I had not thought of as I don't seem to have any low voltage problems else where. Also I am going to wax the sides, or maybe silicone the seals. Thanks again for the help and if anyone else has any thoughts about this problem please chime in.

Try waxing the area on the slide that touches the rubber scrubbers top,sides and bottom helped on my Holiday Rambler . The batt. connections is also good place to check.

Never lubricated anything on mine and haven't had any issues and they work the same as original after 10 yrs. Does sound like it could be a power issue?

On my Discovery the more I use the slides the smoother they work. I am convinced that the worst thing for a MH is not using it enough. If you don't find any answers on this site don't be afraid to call Fleetwood, I only called them once and I could tell the fellow who helped me knew his stuff.;)

If your batteries and connections are good, make sure you keep the seals around the slideouts lubricated.
