All states are cracking-down on out-of-state registration, I'm surprised Florida is bothering to do it, last I heard, and correct me if I'm wrong, it was $17 to register a vehicle there. It's obvioulsy much more in CA.
This might prove problematic for me re: Florida cracking down on out of state registrations. I am a co-owner of two vehicles, each owned by my college age student children. I have a Tennessee license, the cars are insured in Tennessee, and they are registered in Tennessee. The children have Florida licenses as they work part-time in Florida while attending school in Pensacola. Wonder what the Florida authorities would do in this instance, one owner being resident in Florida, the other a resident of Tennessee? Which state do you register in?
