Flushing a Winterized Techma Toilet
I got a new rig with a Techma toilet. The rig is winterized--no water. I am planning on using the toilet, can I just dump water in there. Looks like that might not work?

- The Tecma has a macerator built in so you can pour water into the bowl and when you flush the macerator chops up waste/paper and pumps it to the tank. If you use water, some will stay in the trap so it could freeze. Suggest you use the pink antifreeze if you want to keep it winterized...about $2 per gallon at Wally World.
You can go to the Thetford website and see a pretty cool video that shows how the thing works. I did to get a better understanding of it in case I need to work on it.
